"Noise Canceling Mode" "Wind Cut Mode" "While Listening Mode" "Voice Through Mode" can be switched.

"Noise Canceling Mode"... Reduces surrounding noise for easier listening to playback sound. This is usually the default setting.

"Wind Cut Mode"... Reduces the "wind noise" that occurs when wind hits the microphone on the headphones, making it easier to hear playback sound.

"While Listening Mode"... Keeps the playback volume the same while allowing surrounding sounds to be heard. You can enjoy music as BGM while confirming surrounding sounds during activities like running or working.

About PRO Equalizer

The parametric equalizer traditionally used in TWS allowed for arbitrary selection of central frequencies and bandwidth (Q) for each band, offering high flexibility in use and a wide range of gain adjustments as merits. However, it was difficult to create the desired sound, which was a demerit. Additionally, there was a problem where presets like "ROCK" or "POPS" often resulted in outcomes different from the sound users sought. With ZE8000, a parametric equalizer was adopted that rigorously selects the central frequencies and Q values of each band, allowing for easy adjustments to make the music more vivid without compromising high sound quality. The reference in the process of selecting the central frequencies and Q values of each band was the vintage analog parametric equalizer, which is still used as a musical equalizer in the music recording industry today.

Vintage analog parametric equalizers, unlike the latest digital equalizers where you can freely choose parameters, are still highly valued by many recording engineers today because of their characteristic of allowing you to instantly create your preferred sound, with limited choices of center frequency and Q for each band. Similarly, with the PRO equalizer of ZE8000, the center frequency of each band is limited to musically effective values. Additionally, to prevent high sound quality from being impaired or music from being distorted by the equalizer, the gain adjustment range is limited to ±3dB, allowing for 25-step fine-tuning within that range. Moreover, when selecting the center frequency of each band, the bandwidth (Q value) is automatically set, making it easy to approach the intended sound.

The volume that feels appropriate to people varies, and adjustments may be necessary depending on the usage scene, mood, and music. On the other hand, with smartphone volume operations, the change in volume for each step is too large, so it may not achieve the desired volume. By performing "Volume Step Optimization," the volume steps close to your preference are automatically refined, allowing for easy fine-tuning of the volume.

The 11-pattern volume curve, optimized for subtle adjustments at the volume you want to hear, is applied without conducting independent surveys focusing on individual differences in perceived comfortable listening volumes or variations due to music impressions.
