New project “MOD” to modify the base model

"MOD" is a project that "Modifies" the base model to bring out new possibilities.
finalBy incorporating the latest sound quality design researched and developed into products in the shortest possible time, finalWe will commercialize a wide variety of sounds that are a bit different from the original.

Stainless steel housing made by MIM (Metal Injection Molding)

MIM is a method of mixing fine metal powder and a binder, molding it in a mold like resin, and then sintering it at high temperature to shape it. Like resin molded products, it has a high degree of freedom in shape, and even though it is made of metal, it is possible to design complex internal shapes. This model has a matte black finish after molding.
MOD logo on the surface and model number laser engraved on the side.

New sound quality design that takes advantage of driver configuration

MAKE MOD3.1 utilizes the configuration of a single dynamic driver to deliver a thick, smooth sound, high clarity, and crisp tightness.

MMCX OFC black cable

Adopts MMCX connector and supports re-cable. It is safe even in the event of a disconnection. You can also use it as wireless earphones by connecting it with a Bluetooth cable from another company. Adopts soft and supple covering material. When using the ear hook, it bends flexibly to ensure a good fit.

Input: 3.5mm, 3 poles
Output: MMCX, straight type

Feels like it's been customized

The feeling of pressure determines whether the earphones are comfortable to wear or not. A shape that emphasizes ergonomics and has an organic curved surface that only needs to touch the ear somewhere will be held in place by pressure, and fatigue will accumulate over time. We went back to the basics and reconsidered how to wear it with less pressure, and came up with the idea of holding it in two places and supporting it in one place to the extent that it doesn't slip. Similar to a tripod, any housing can be held in three places to ensure stable mounting. There are three locations in total: one in the green part (earpiece), one in the blue part (tragus), and one in the pink part (concha: the hollow part of the ear) in the diagram below. We adopted a mounting method in which the earbuds and tragus hold the earphones in such a way that they do not feel stressed even when force is applied, and the earphones touch the pink part (concha: the hollow part of the ear) just enough to support them from falling out. The shape has a clear contact point, so it fits more people's ears without feeling pressure. If you don't feel any pressure when wearing them, you will feel that wearing the earphones is as comfortable as it is, and you can get an excellent wearing feeling as if you were wearing customized earphones.

Original earpieces with different colors on the left and right axes

Adopts two types of silicone materials with different hardness for the sound conduit part and the part that touches the ear. The sound conduit part is made of silicone, which is harder than the part that touches the ear, and is grooved to achieve both strength and flexibility. The parts that touch the ears are made of soft silicone, providing a comfortable fit and high sound insulation. By making the shaft color gray on one side and red on the other, you can easily tell the left and right sides apart even in dimly lit places by flipping the earpiece slightly and checking the color of the earpiece shaft. Furthermore, the colors of the shafts of adjacent sizes are different (the gray shaft is alternately dark gray and light gray, and the red shaft is alternately red and pink), making it easier to distinguish between sizes. Includes 5 sizes: SS/S/M/L/LL. You can choose according to your preference.

Ear hook to eliminate cable touch noise

Previous products of the same type were larger in size and were intended to be worn on ears of various sizes, which not only made them look too conspicuous, but also required a considerable amount of getting used to wearing them. After reconsidering what is the key to attaching ear hooks, we discovered a shape that is smaller than conventional ear hooks, does not require the use of metal or resin wires, and can easily fit into the ears of more people. It's slim, doesn't feel like a foreign body, and is so comfortable that you forget you're wearing it in your ear. There is no problem with using it with glasses. The unpleasant rustling noise (cable touch noise) that occurs when the cable touches your body while walking is dramatically reduced.
